A short post on just about how routines can help conserve energy. When you create a habit, meaning you do something, such as running or meditation, you are establishing a routine. Routines help conserve energy, willpower and mental energy that you can expend on other tasks that you have in the day.
You can cement the routine more by doing it at a specific time and having a specific process of doing the habit. By performing a specific process, (ie. go to the gym right after work) while you take the same routes for instance, you are conserving more energy with this routine.
